Build a palette from colors you actually choose
To make your own color palette, you need real colors you care about, not a random set of swatches. Color Identifier lets you capture exactly the shades you want: a flower, a fabric, a color in a photo. Each one becomes part of a palette that reflects your eye rather than an algorithm’s guess.
Capture, then collect
- Open Color Identifier and choose Live Camera or From Photo.
- Point at a real object, or tap a point in an image.
- Read the color name plus Hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone codes.
- Save it into the palette you are building.
Repeat for each shade, and you make your own color palette from colors that are genuinely meaningful to your project. There are good places to source colors everywhere:
- Nature — leaves, sky, stone, petals.
- Everyday objects — packaging, art, textiles, food.
- On screen — colors from sites or apps via screenshots.
