Tap a spot, get the color
Working over a finished picture, you often just want to drop a marker on one spot and learn its color. As a color picker on image, Color Identifier does exactly that: open From Photo, load the shot, and tap directly on the area you care about to read its color like an eyedropper.
How it works
- Open Color Identifier and choose From Photo.
- Load the picture or screenshot you want to work over.
- Tap the spot on the image to sample it.
- Read the Hex, RGB, CMYK and Pantone codes.
A color picker on image is most useful when you can move freely across the picture — tap one area, then another, comparing shades without reloading anything.

Keep every color you tap
Each spot you sample can be saved into a palette, so a single image can seed a whole color set. Organize palettes by project, then export or share so the colors you tapped on the image flow into your other tools.
